Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial laundry machines and equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted service for clients.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use and care of laundry equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the procurement of spare parts and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Laundry Equipment Technician or similar role in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in laundry equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment or parts as needed.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a technical environment.
