Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and calibration of commercial coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for cafés and roasteries.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks and service schedules to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.
- Provide on-site technical support and training to café staff on equipment operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed service records, including equipment history, parts used, and repair logs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source replacement parts and stay updated on new technologies.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new coffee equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Offer technical guidance to management on equipment upgrades, replacements, or efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Coffee Technician, Equipment Technician, or similar role in the coffee or hospitality industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial coffee machines (e.g., La Marzocco, Victoria Arduino, Mahlkönig, etc.).
- Certification in coffee equipment repair or mechanical/electrical training is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment used in coffee machine servicing.
- Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Valid driverâs license and willingness to travel across Bali for on-site service calls.
