Responsibility
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron guest linens, towels, and clothing according to hotel standards.
- Operate and maintain laundry machinery, including industrial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Inspect all laundered items for stains, tears, or damage, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Organize and distribute clean linens to housekeeping and other departments as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized laundry area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow eco-friendly laundry practices to minimize water and energy consumption.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management of low stock.
- Provide exceptional service by handling guest requests for laundry or dry-cleaning services promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot and treat stains effectively.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy laundry baskets (up to 20 kg).
- Basic knowledge of fabric care, detergent usage, and laundry equipment operation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene standards in laundry services.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per hotel needs.
