Responsibility
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute guest linens, towels, and uniforms according to resort standards.
- Operate and maintain laundry machinery, including industrial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Inspect all laundered items for stains, damages, or defects, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to ensure all items meet health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies (detergents, softeners, etc.) and notify management of low stock.
- Assist with ironing, steaming, and packaging of delicate or high-end fabrics as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry workspace.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to prioritize urgent guest requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or a similar role in hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg (44 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and laundry chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills in English (basic Indonesian is beneficial).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and a guest-first mindset.
