Responsibility
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware issues on laptops, including motherboards, screens, keyboards, and storage devices.
- Perform system upgrades, such as RAM, SSD/HDD replacements, and BIOS updates to enhance device performance.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality checks to ensure all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Provide clear and professional technical support to customers, explaining issues and solutions in an understandable manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all service requests, repairs, and inventory of parts and tools.
- Collaborate with the sales team to recommend appropriate hardware solutions and accessories to customers.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in laptop technology, tools, and repair techniques.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices for handling electronic components and sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Laptop Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of laptop hardware, including disassembly, component replacement, and diagnostic tools.
- Certification in CompTIA A+ or similar IT hardware qualifications is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic software troubleshooting.
