As the Landscape Manager, you will oversee all aspects of landscaping and grounds maintenance, from conceptual design to daily upkeep. Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive landscaping plans that align with the resort's aesthetic and sustainability goals.
- Manage and lead a team of gardeners and groundskeeping staff, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance of all outdoor areas, including gardens, pools, pathways, and recreational spaces.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized services such as irrigation, pest control, and tree care.
- Monitor and manage the budget for landscaping projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and promote eco-friendly practices in all landscaping activities.
- Collaborate with the resort's management team to plan seasonal decorations and special event setups.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues, such as plant diseases or safety hazards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape management, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of landscaping professionals.
- Strong knowledge of tropical plants, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscaping practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.
- Familiarity with local environmental regulations and safety standards in Bali.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
