Are you an experienced professional with a passion for public service and land administration? We are looking for a dedicated Land Management Officer III to join our team in the Bicol Region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management, disposition, and utilization of public lands in accordance with existing laws and regulations.
As a Land Management Officer III, you will play a key role in processing land applications, resolving disputes, and implementing land reform policies. You will work closely with government agencies, private stakeholders, and local communities to ensure transparency and accuracy in land records and reporting.

Responsibility
- Review and evaluate land applications, including sales, leases, and homestead patents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Conduct field inspections and verification of land surveys and boundaries as needed.
- Prepare technical reports, position papers, and memoranda regarding land status and land management issues.
- Coordinate with local government units (LGUs) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) regarding land administration concerns.
- Facilitate the resolution of land disputes and mediate conflicts between claimants to ensure an amicable and legal resolution.
- Maintain and update land record databases, ensuring all documentation is accurate, secure, and accessible.
- Monitor the progress of land titling and disposal projects within the assigned jurisdiction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering, Law, Public Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in land management, urban planning, or property administration.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine land laws, specifically the Public Land Act and related regulations.
- Proficiency in mapping tools, GIS software, or land records management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex land tenure issues.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct in public office.
- Relevant Civil Service Eligibility is a distinct advantage.
