Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for laboratory supplies, equipment, and reagents.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders to ensure timely replenishment of critical items.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Organize and distribute supplies to designated laboratory departments as requested.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical stock with digital records and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast supply needs and optimize inventory costs.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe storage environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving supply-related issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, or a related administrative role, preferably in a medical or laboratory setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain precise records and documentation.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members and vendors.
- Basic understanding of laboratory supplies, equipment, and safety protocols is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is advantageous.
