Responsibility
- Translate written and verbal communications between Mandarin and Indonesian/English.
- Assist in supplier negotiations, contract discussions, and procurement processes.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, ensuring accurate records.
- Coordinate with local suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Support the purchasing team in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating vendor performance.
- Prepare reports on supplier interactions, pricing, and market trends.
- Facilitate meetings and calls between internal teams and Mandarin-speaking partners.
- Resolve any communication or logistical issues that arise with suppliers.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian.
- Previous experience in translation, procurement, or supplier relations is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with purchasing processes and supplier management.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits.
