Responsibility
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of business events, conferences, and networking sessions.
- Liaise with vendors, speakers, and attendees to ensure smooth event operations.
- Prepare and distribute event materials, including agendas, presentations, and promotional content.
- Manage on-site logistics, including registration, seating arrangements, and technical setup.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align event objectives with organizational goals.
- Monitor event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Gather post-event feedback and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc administrative tasks related to commerce and industry development projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event coordination, administrative support, or a similar role (internships included).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Familiarity with business etiquette and cultural sensitivity in multicultural settings.
