Responsibility

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of business events, conferences, and networking sessions.
  • Liaise with vendors, speakers, and attendees to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Prepare and distribute event materials, including agendas, presentations, and promotional content.
  • Manage on-site logistics, including registration, seating arrangements, and technical setup.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align event objectives with organizational goals.
  • Monitor event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Gather post-event feedback and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Support ad-hoc administrative tasks related to commerce and industry development projects.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event coordination, administrative support, or a similar role (internships included).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • Familiarity with business etiquette and cultural sensitivity in multicultural settings.
