Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Manage customer service initiatives, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Handle HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Administer and optimize administrative processes, including reporting, documentation, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in all laboratory activities.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Collaborate with senior management to align laboratory operations with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a supervisory or managerial role within a laboratory, healthcare, or medical setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in administrative and HR functions, including compliance and documentation.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control, and industry regulations (e.g., ISO, CLIA).
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and cardiovascular laboratory processes is a plus.
