Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor labor relations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and company standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, disputes, and conflicts, conducting thorough investigations and facilitating fair resolutions.
- Collaborate with HR and legal teams to interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and labor regulations.
- Conduct workplace assessments to identify potential issues and proactively address them through training, policy adjustments, or mediation.
- Represent the company in labor negotiations, arbitrations, or legal proceedings as required, ensuring the organization’s interests are protected.
- Design and deliver employee relations training programs for managers and staff on topics such as conflict resolution, workplace harassment, and labor rights.
- Maintain accurate records of labor relations activities, incidents, and resolutions for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Advise leadership on best practices in employee engagement and recommend strategies to improve morale and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in labor relations, HR compliance, or a similar role, preferably in a multinational or regulated industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and CBAs, with experience in their practical application.
- Proven track record in conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex labor issues and provide actionable, legally sound recommendations.
- Proficiency in HRIS or labor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional local dialects are advantageous.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or Indonesian HR certifications are highly desirable.
