Responsibility

  • Administer and oversee labor relations processes to ensure compliance with local, national, and international labor laws and regulations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between management and employees, addressing labor-related concerns and facilitating open communication.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor company policies and procedures related to labor relations, employee conduct, and disciplinary actions.
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances, disputes, and complaints in a fair, timely, and confidential manner.
  • Represent the company in labor negotiations, collective bargaining agreements, and discussions with unions or employee representatives.
  • Conduct regular audits of labor practices to identify potential risks and recommend proactive solutions to mitigate exposure.
  • Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on labor laws, company policies, and best practices in employee relations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of labor relations activities, including agreements, disputes, and resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in labor relations, human resources, or a related field, preferably in a multinational or diverse work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with international labor standards is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills with a proven ability to handle sensitive and complex labor issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, interpret legal documents, and develop practical solutions.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to fairness, integrity, and confidentiality in all labor relations matters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software. Familiarity with labor relations databases or tools is a plus.
