Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor site progress and report updates to municipal project engineers and management.
- Ensure all team members adhere strictly to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
- Manage deployment of labor resources, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to guide onsite teams.
- Conduct regular quality checks on workmanship to ensure compliance with municipal standards.
- Mentor and coach junior laborers and sub-foremen to improve site operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Foreman or Construction Supervisor, preferably in public or civil works.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, building codes, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in challenging environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering plans and site layouts.
- Relevant vocational or trade certifications in construction management are highly preferred.
