Responsibility
- Provide real-time interpretation (Korean ↔ English/Indonesian) during client meetings, negotiations, and marketing presentations.
- Translate marketing collateral, including brochures, social media content, and business proposals, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
- Assist in localizing marketing strategies for Korean-speaking audiences, adapting messaging to resonate with target markets.
- Support business development by facilitating communication between Korean investors, partners, and local teams.
- Conduct market research in Korean to identify trends, competitor insights, and opportunities for expansion.
- Coordinate cross-cultural training sessions to enhance team understanding of Korean business etiquette and communication styles.
- Manage client correspondence, including emails, reports, and contracts, with professional translation and proofreading.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure multilingual materials align with brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal) is mandatory; Indonesian language skills are a strong plus.
- Proven experience in interpretation/translation, preferably in marketing, business, or tourism sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to adapt content for different cultural audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor in client-facing roles.
- Familiarity with Bali’s business landscape and experience working in multicultural teams is advantageous.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and translation tools (e.g., Trados, memoQ).
