Responsibility

  • Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base, ensuring all content adheres to Knowledge Management (KM) and Technical Writing standards.
  • Create, edit, and optimize high-quality knowledge articles, user guides, FAQs, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, validate, and synthesize technical information into user-friendly documentation.
  • Design and implement knowledge management processes, including content lifecycle management, version control, and archival systems.
  • Monitor and analyze knowledge base performance metrics (e.g., searchability, user engagement) and recommend improvements.
  • Train and mentor junior writers and team members on best practices in technical writing and KM tools.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and terminology across all documentation to maintain brand and product integrity.
  • Stay updated with industry trends in KM, technical communication, and emerging tools (e.g., AI-assisted writing, DITA, MadCap Flare).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Knowledge Management, or Content Development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in authoring tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, MadCap Flare, or Adobe FrameMaker.
  • Strong understanding of XML, DITA, or structured authoring principles.
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal) with a keen eye for detail and clarity.
  • Experience working in IT, SaaS, or BPO industries is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles for knowledge base content is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
