Responsibility

  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools.
  • Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Organize and restock kitchen supplies, ingredients, and storage areas to ensure efficiency.
  • Support the culinary team by preparing ingredients, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning as needed.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, Dishwasher, or in a similar role in a restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
