Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations to meet health and safety standards.
- Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and rotation of supplies.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service hours.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a seamless workflow during peak hours.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company protocols for waste disposal and recycling.
- Support additional kitchen tasks as assigned, including basic food preparation when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in kitchen stewardship, dishwashing, or a similar role in hospitality is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks (lifting, standing for extended periods).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus).
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
