Responsibility
- Assist chefs in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment and utensils efficiently.
- Ensure timely restocking of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency in dish quality.
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes according to establishment standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Participate in inventory management and waste reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus (entry-level candidates with enthusiasm are welcome).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is advantageous.
