Responsibility
- Assist chefs in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in food quality.
- Support in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to minimize waste.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes according to presentation standards.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a passion for the culinary arts.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is an advantage.
