Responsibility
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
- Assist in cooking, baking, and assembling dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
- Follow strict hygiene and food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Operate kitchen equipment (e.g., mixers, ovens, grills) safely and efficiently.
- Support in plating and garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen, food production, or culinary environment (entry-level candidates with passion are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent quality.
- Familiarity with Bali’s culinary trends or local ingredients is advantageous.
