Responsibility
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage food cost control, inventory levels, and supplier relationships to optimize budget efficiency.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance culture and team collaboration.
- Develop and implement standardized recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines to maintain consistency.
- Coordinate with the F&B team to plan menus, special events, and seasonal offerings aligned with brand standards.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Resolve operational challenges promptly and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality checks to uphold food presentation, taste, and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of food cost management, inventory control, and HACCP standards.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse culinary team.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation and trend awareness.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
