Responsibility
- Oversee daily kitchen operations across all outlets, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and cost control measures to optimize budget and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to design seasonal menus that align with guest preferences and local trends.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, coordinating repairs and upgrades as needed.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve kitchen-related issues promptly to uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role within a high-volume kitchen or hospitality setting.
- Proven track record in leading teams, managing budgets, and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation and menu development.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing demands, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and POS systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
