Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure all dishes meet L'Osteria’s high standards of presentation and quality.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, anticipating requests and resolving any concerns with efficiency.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of courses.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including setting tables and replenishing supplies.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
- Uphold excellent knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, wine pairings, and special dietary accommodations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Italian, Indonesian, or other tourist languages) are a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, multitask, and remain composed under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, from order accuracy to table presentation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operating hours.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and payment processing.
