Responsibility
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and refine menus in collaboration with chefs, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and guest preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and control food costs to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to maintain seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen staff.
- Resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
