Responsibility
- Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and team collaboration.
- Develop and refine menus in alignment with the company’s brand and customer preferences.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to uphold high performance and service standards.
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- Optimize kitchen operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a leadership role within a kitchen, preferably in a high-volume or specialty coffee/café environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management, cost control, and budgeting.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
- Passion for culinary innovation and a commitment to quality.
- Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are advantageous.
