Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the hotelâs high cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels and efficient workflow to meet operational demands.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, providing feedback and training to staff to maintain consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to address guest requests, room status updates, and maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels while controlling costs.
- Train new housekeeping staff on hotel standards, safety protocols, and best practices to uphold service excellence.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in budgeting and cost-control measures related to housekeeping operations, including labor and supply expenses.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory or coordination role within a 3-star (or higher) hotel.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and service standards.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management software and inventory systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal); additional languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
