Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Support the team in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to uphold the highest quality of service.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, and organize inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is a plus, but not required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Fluency in Indonesian; basic English is a plus.
