Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Support in organizing and stocking kitchen supplies, ingredients, and inventory.
- Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, such as mixing, stirring, and portioning.
- Assist in dishwashing and ensuring timely cleanup during and after service hours.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards to comply with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
Qualifications
- No formal education required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices (training provided).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 15 kg).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
