Responsibility
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Support the team during meal service by plating dishes, restocking supplies, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards to comply with health regulations.
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper labeling and rotation of stock.
- Assist in basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Contribute to inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- No prior experience requiredâfull training provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn).
- Excellent physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work efficiently under supervision.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is a plus but not mandatory.
