Responsibility
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Support in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as directed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as mixers, blenders, and ovens.
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes under the supervision of the head chef.
- Monitor and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Follow all food safety protocols and contribute to a hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Strong commitment to hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with Balinese or international cuisine is an advantage.
