In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting our chefs in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Responsibility

  • Assist chefs in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring for daily orders.
  • Cook and assemble simple dishes or components under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing utensils and equipment.
  • Manage inventory by storing leftover ingredients, labeling containers, and ensuring freshness and food safety standards.
  • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to minimize waste and maintain consistency in food quality.
  • Assist in receiving and unpacking food deliveries, checking for quality and accuracy.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the team during peak hours by expediting orders and ensuring timely service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 10-15 kg, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
  • Fluency in basic English or Indonesian to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues.
