Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Support the team in plating and presenting dishes according to established standards.
- Ensure timely restocking of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to uphold health and safety regulations.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and freshness.
- Help with basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
