Responsibility
- Prepare and cook a variety of noodle dishes and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared fresh, with high-quality ingredients, and presented attractively.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking ingredients and monitoring supply levels.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
- Adapt to customer preferences and dietary restrictions when preparing meals.
- Support kitchen staff in maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in an Asian cuisine or noodle-focused kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen sanitation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new recipes and techniques.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control is a plus.
