Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Support the team in organizing and storing food supplies and ingredients.
- Help with basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Good physical stamina to handle standing, lifting, and moving for extended periods.
