Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, fruits, and other food items.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support the culinary team by restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and ensuring all kitchen equipment is in good working condition.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as mixing ingredients, portioning meals, and packaging food items.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or head chef.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is a plus.
