Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing as directed by the chef.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Ensure all food storage areas are properly stocked and labeled according to health and safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team by performing basic cooking tasks, such as boiling, grilling, or frying, under supervision.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
