Responsibility
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including ingredient washing, peeling, and chopping
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Support the efficient flow of dishes between kitchen stations and the dining area
- Monitor and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency
- Handle dishwashing and kitchen equipment cleaning duties
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality food service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is a plus
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Basic English proficiency is preferred
