Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor a diverse kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Design and execute innovative, seasonal menus that highlight local ingredients while appealing to international palates.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and cost control to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP, ISO, or local regulations).
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless dining experiences and address guest feedback.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives, such as reducing food waste and sourcing ethically produced ingredients.
  • Stay ahead of culinary trends and incorporate modern techniques to keep our offerings fresh and competitive.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant.
  • Proven track record of menu development, cost management, and team leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in international cuisines, with a strong focus on Asian and Western fusion.
  • Certification in culinary arts (e.g., CIA, Le Cordon Bleu) or equivalent professional training.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
