Responsibility
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Support the cooking team by operating kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure timely restocking of ingredients and supplies to avoid disruptions during service.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency in dish quality.
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes to meet the establishment’s aesthetic and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Participate in daily kitchen setup and breakdown procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
