Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of clean linen delivered by external laundry vendors.
- Organize and distribute linen to designated departments (e.g., housekeeping, restaurants, spas) based on daily requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all linen items, including towels, bedsheets, and tablecloths, using digital or manual tracking systems.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Linen Supervisor or Executive promptly.
- Assist in the sorting, folding, and storage of linen to ensure optimal space utilization and easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with housekeeping teams to prioritize linen requests during peak occupancy periods.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of soiled linen and use of protective equipment.
- Support periodic stocktaking and linen rotation to prevent overstocking or shortages.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in linen management, housekeeping, or a related role within the hospitality industry.
- Basic understanding of linen types, fabric care, and laundry processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move linen carts or bundles (up to 15-20 kg).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or willingness to learn.
