Responsibility
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, equipment, and chiller rooms to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Wash and polish soiled crockery, utensils, food warmer carts, and GN trolleys efficiently.
- Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling materials according to established procedures.
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary equipment and utensils are readily available and in good condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including shelves and refrigerators.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to kitchen equipment promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and equipment is a plus.
