Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and plating ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock rotation to minimize waste.
  • Adhere to portion control and cost management guidelines to optimize profitability.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support special events, buffets, or themed dining experiences as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary environment (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Passion for cooking and a strong interest in Western, Japanese, or local cuisine.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
  • Fluency in English or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
