Responsibility
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients to support the kitchen team.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Support chefs during service by plating dishes, garnishing, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Operate kitchen equipment (e.g., mixers, grills, ovens) safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen supervisor.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in dish quality.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment while maintaining composure.
Qualifications
- No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.
- Proven ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices (a plus).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
