Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of ingredients according to standardized recipes and special orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support the kitchen team in plating and presenting dishes to meet quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Adhere to portion control and waste minimization practices to optimize costs.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
