Responsibility
- Assist in daily food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Cook and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Pack and portion meals accurately for dine-in, takeout, or delivery services.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support the team in inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating ingredients to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with chefs and service staff to ensure seamless kitchen-to-table operations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Uphold the restaurantâs brand standards through consistent quality and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role (entry-level candidates with a strong passion for culinary arts are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Familiarity with Balinese or Asian cuisine is a plus but not mandatory.
