Responsibility
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene by adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and timely food preparation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
- Monitor food inventory and report shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen supervisor.
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes to meet quality and aesthetic standards.
- Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role (experience in hospitality or fast-paced environments is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (certification is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment or supplies.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
