Responsibility
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and cooking ingredients under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support the kitchen team in plating and presenting dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring ingredients are stocked and stored properly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational protocols.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and high-quality food service.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting food deliveries for quality and accuracy.
- Participate in kitchen training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
