Responsibility
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Manage cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Train and mentor junior baristas, ensuring they adhere to company standards and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating area, and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and assist in placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new menu items or promotional offers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and operating the POS system.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Previous experience in a leadership or training role is a plus.
