Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of travel sales consultants, setting performance targets and ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth in international travel packages, with a focus on premium and luxury segments.
- Manage airline seat blocking, group bookings, and negotiations with global suppliers to secure competitive rates and exclusive offers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from client consultation to post-travel feedback, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling promotions and campaigns that attract high-value clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international travel sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the premium/luxury travel sector.
- In-depth knowledge of airline seat blocking, group travel logistics, and global distribution systems (GDS).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in coaching, motivating, and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and optimize strategies.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
